What this service is

Wax and spray sealants sit on top of your paint and wash away in a month or two. A ceramic coating is different. It is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to the clear coat and becomes part of the surface, so the protection lasts far longer than anything you spray on at a car wash. Once it cures, the paint feels slick, water beads up and rolls off, and the everyday grime that used to stick has a much harder time holding on.

That matters a lot in this part of Michigan. Between road salt in the winter, sand and gravel in spring, and full sun baking your hood all summer, paint around St. Clair Shores takes a beating. The hydrophobic layer means salty slush sheets off instead of sitting on the finish, and the UV protection slows the fading and oxidation that turns a deep color chalky over a few seasons. Washing gets easier too, because most of the dirt rinses away instead of needing to be scrubbed.

We are certified Nasiol installers, so we match the Nasiol product to your paint and how you drive instead of forcing one bottle onto every car. We do the work at our shop on Little Mack, or we bring it to your driveway if that is easier. Daily driver, weekend truck, RV, or boat, we will tell you straight what the coating will and will not do before we book anything.

What you get

  • Less time washing, because road salt and grime rinse off instead of caking onto the paint
  • Color stays deeper and richer longer thanks to real UV protection against Michigan sun
  • A glossy, wet-looking finish that holds up season after season, not just for a few weeks
  • Better defense against salt, sap, bird droppings, and the bug splatter that damages clear coat
  • A harder surface that helps resist the light scratches and swirls that come from normal washing

How it goes

  1. 1

    Quote and walkthrough

Call (586) 217-0123 and tell us the vehicle, the color, and how you use it. We look at the paint, talk through which coating package fits, and give you a custom quote. No guessing over the phone on price.

  2. 2

    Decontaminate and prep

A coating is only as good as the surface under it. We wash, clay, and clean the paint so the polymer bonds to bare clear coat, not to dirt or old wax. Any paint correction you choose happens at this stage.

  3. 3

    Apply the certified coating

We hand-apply the Nasiol coating panel by panel and level it correctly so it bonds evenly. This is where certification and patience pay off.

  4. 4

    Cure and inspect

The coating needs time to cure before it gets wet. We inspect every panel under proper lighting, then walk you through how to wash and care for the finish so it lasts.

How far you want to go

We look at the vehicle first and tell you which level it actually needs.

  • Single-stage coating

A solid choice for paint that is already in good shape. We prep and decontaminate, then apply one layer of certified ceramic coating for strong gloss, hydrophobic protection, and UV defense. A clean, lasting upgrade over wax.

  • Multi-layer coating

Built for owners who want the deepest gloss and longest-lasting protection. We layer the coating for added durability and slickness, ideal for daily drivers fighting Michigan salt and sun or anyone keeping a vehicle for the long haul.

  • Correction plus coating

The full treatment. We pair paint correction to remove swirls and light scratches with a certified ceramic coating, so the finish is dialed in first and then locked under the polymer. Best for restoring an older finish or protecting a fresh one.

Why people book us for this

  • Certified Nasiol installers, so we pick the right Nasiol coating for your paint instead of selling one bottle to every car
  • Shop and mobile service, so you can drop the vehicle at Little Mack or have us come to your driveway
  • We coat cars, trucks, RVs, and marine, not just daily drivers
  • Honest about what a coating can and cannot do before you spend a dollar
  • Local to St. Clair Shores and built for Macomb County roads, salt, and weather

Questions about this service

How long does a ceramic coating last?

It depends on the product and how the vehicle is stored and washed, which is one reason we match the coating to your situation. A bonded ceramic coating lasts far longer than wax or spray sealants. We will give you a straight answer for the specific package you choose when we quote your vehicle.

Does a ceramic coating make my car scratch proof?

No, and anyone who tells you that is overselling. A coating adds hardness and helps resist minor scratches and wash swirls, but it will not stop rock chips or a careless cart in a parking lot. What it does well is protect against UV, dirt, salt, and light marring while keeping the paint glossy.

Do I still have to wash my car after it is coated?

Yes, but it gets a lot easier. The hydrophobic surface sheets water and lets most dirt and road salt rinse right off, so washes are quicker and you scrub less. We will show you how to wash it so you do not undo the coating.

Can you coat my truck, RV, or boat, and do you come to me?

Yes. We coat cars, trucks, RVs, and marine, and we work either at our shop at 23525 Little Mack Ave in St. Clair Shores or mobile at your location across Macomb County. Call (586) 217-0123 and we will figure out what fits best.
